Paul Caffyn is a New Zealand based Sea Kayaker, famous for undertaking some epic circumnavigations. Perhaps his best known trip was the first circumnavigation of Australia in 1982. Over a 360-day period, the New Zealander logged 9,420 miles including some huge paddling days of 50+ miles within a 24 hour period. On occasion he even paddled for 30 hours continuously.

 His book of the trip, ‘Dreamtime Voyage’ has just been republished, having been out of print for a significant period of time.
