The Thule 838 Quickdraw is perfect for use a bow and stern line. You only need to hook the Quick Draw to your boat and car, give it a yank and get going.

The catch is automatic and releases via a button when you get to the other end. We always recommend securing kayaks and canoes in this way when transporting on a car.
