At greater than 680 kgs breaking strength, NRS' Heavy Duty Tie Down Straps are more than twice the strength of their nearest competitors on the market (the buckles are rated to 900kg!). The polypropylene webbing is custom made for NRS to assure the highest quality and breaking strength possible. Once made, the webbing is dipped in a proprietary solution to guard against UV degredation and then attached to stainless-steel spring mounted buckles using a military-spec "box tack".

- The 2" x 5" vinyl pad has a velvety suede finish on the under surface to protect your gear from the cam buckle.
- The pad is securely sewn onto the strap so it's always in place.
- Same high-strength polypropylene webbing (1,500 pound tensile strength) and double-spring cam buckle (2,000 pound tensile load) as our world famous NRS Heavy Duty Straps.
- Strap length is woven into the webbing and stamped on the side of the buckle for easy identification.
- A sturdy 1" x 2-1/2" label gives you plenty of room to write your name and contact info. Helps you avoid getting your straps mixed up with your boating buddies!
We can special order other length and width of cam - strap / tiedowns if needed - please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Lengths are 1 ft, 2 ft, 3 ft, 4 ft and 6 ft. These are commonly used for catarafting. We also can special order straps that are 1.5 inches wide. These are great for homemade storage hangers and very heavy loads.
The uses of the NRS tiedowns are almost limitless, including holding together brick chimneys during the Christchurch earthquakes of 2010-11!
