This safety flag is important for all who may paddle in areas with waves that may reduce their visibility to other boat users. This is especially important in areas with jet skiers or on fishing lakes where there are motorboats sharing an area, but can also be an important safety item on the open seas where a kayak can easily dissappear between swells to those around them.
The base of the flag is a weight the same shape and size as the Inset Rod Holder, with a long flexible pole that comes out of the top of the rod holder and ends in a florescent orange safety flag made of a plastic material for high durability and no water absorption, while maintaining the ability to move like a flag in the wind and gain attention of those who are within range to see it.
