There's nothing quite like frothing rapids and the Herculean force of water crashing around boulders to thrill the souls of whitewater kayakers and rafters. And there's no kayaking, rafting or diving knife quite like the Gerber River Runner, these sports are exactly what it's designed for. Thankfully it'll also spread toppings, cut open rolls and do all the other fun activities you hope for on a trip, but make sure you keep it fully sharp for when you really need it.
Medium-carbon stainless steel is the core material, polished to within an inch of its life to limit corrosion. The blade is 3 inches of river runnin' versatility, with a half serrated and half edge blade.
The sheath is constructed of a hard plastic, which is perfection in the wet world. It can receive the knife in two ways and it can be worn on your belt, on your boot, or attached to your PFD/bouyancy aid. When you insert the knife 3 audible clicks inform you the knife is secure.
