A kayaking buoyancy aid specifically designed for kids! The NRS Kids' Vista Buoyancy Aid is a Type III buoyancy aid - cut like an adult's to provide maximum range of motion, and with balanced buoyancy to allow self rescue and easy swimming if required.
If your child is responsible enough to be trusted to not stand up on the kayak, jump and risk knocking themselves out, then this is the right vest for your child. Here's why: The buoyancy is even in front and back, making swimming easy - and so self rescue is possible and the first choice for a responsible child.
For those kids who have a likelihood of knocking themselves out - they'll need a life jacket such as the RFD Guardians. These are not as ergonomically cut, and have very thin foam on the back, very thick foam on the front and include a head collar. This rolls them over and holds their head up above the water - so even if unconscious they'll be OK. This rolling over onto their back feature makes life jackets very difficult to swim in, and rely on parental rescue during a capsize.

Seven adjustment points, including the shoulders, sides and waist make it easy to fit securely on kids within the weight range. 420 denier Nylon outer shell resists snags, tears and all the abuse kids put their gear through. Two front pockets easily hold snacks, flowers, bugs, rocks, action figures and deflated water wings. 210-Denier Nylon soft inner shell makes it comfortable to wear. 5.2 kgs of floatation.
