The Greenjacket represents the most innovative and comfortable rescue PFD to date featuring a freestyle tectonic front panel, added back protection, and an internal back band for mid-back comfort. This jacket also provides a perfect fit for women who are looking to step up their creek game.
The Greenjacket is the successor to Astral’s popular Aquavest 300 and Wonderpro series, and is designed on the platform of Foam Tectonics where the front buoyancy panels are split into two parts. This separation enables the paddler to have unrestricted freedom of movement as well as the ability to customize the height of the front panel. The Greenjacket is offered in three size options, providing an excellent fit to both women and men. The Greenjacket provides increased back protection over previous models and Astral’s signature safety features like an integrated throwbag pocket and spectra safety loop.
The Greenjacket is constructed without toxic PVC and carcinogenic neoprene. All excess raw materials are recycled.
Other features:
- Knife Park: Quick access lash tab for knives, VHF radios, lights or any other safety item that features a quick lash.
- Side Protection: The foam wraps around the side of your torso and is covered in a thin layer of plastic to best protect your spine even in a side impact.
- Separate Upper and Lower Panels: These are kept separate to provide the greatest mobility ever offered in a pfd.
- Woman comfort setting: Shorter available torso settings and sculpted interior mean a superior fit for womens' shapes.
- Throwrope pocket: To assure you are able to carry a throwrope at all times, there is an Astral throwrope compatible pocket on this vest.
- Spectra Safety Loop: Integrated to the jacket's internal frame, the spectra safety loop provides a super strong and easy to find attachment point.
- Torso Length Adjustment: Customize the torso length of your PFD while simultaneously reducing ride up with our front adjustment straps.
- Reinforced Shoulders: The Reinforced shoulders are integrated with the chest harness to provide 1100lbs of strength.
- Back Band: Included back band of 7 inch elastic for mid-back comfort.

Buoyancy:
At time of manufacture, this jacket provides a minimum of 15.5 lbs of buoyancy. All buoyancy is provided by PVC-Free Gaia ergonomically shaped by hand.
US Coast Guard approved Type V PFD.
Sizing:
The Greenjacket is a great fit for both men and women due to the torso length adjustments. Sizes are measured in centimeters at widest torso circumference:
- Small/Medium: 78 - 95cm
- Medium/Large: 95-113cm
- Large/Extra Large: 113-130cm
