The split stern and bow air bags are designed for larger river runners, river-creek boats and creek boats that have support pillars. Made with 10-gauge Urethane fabric, they are designed to handle the abuse of white water paddling. Generally sold in pairs (as on this page), they are also available individually. Most people will only be able to fit a stern pair in their kayaks. For those with larger kayaks, or older style dancers, it is best to buy a NRS Bow Air Bag pair as well.
Stern Air Bag Dimensions: 85cm long x 33cm wide at top, 7.5cm wide at the bottom
To determine the correct air bag size for your boat, measure the inside of the space to be filled and choose a bag that is slightly larger.
