The Cobra Kayaks Small Rectangular Deck Hatch (16" x 12") (40.6cm x 30.5cm) allows storage and access to the inside of your kayak. Lids have 4 twist-loc handles ensuring a water tight seal. This hatch is ideal for fishing and touring kayaks, or for to store the family picnic on the way over to your favourite secluded beach.
This piece of outfitting is available both at the time of purchasing your kayak as well as later on if you either drop in your kayak to the shop for retrofitting, or if you are handy with pop rivets, cutting tools and silicone glue and want to install it yourself. These are made by Cobra for Cobra Kayaks, and if installed on another brand, it is assumed that you have a perfectly flat area on your kayak that about one inch larger than the hatch's dimensions on all sides (listed above).
Models of Cobra kayaks that can take this hatch include the Cobra Tandem, Cobra Triple, and the Cobra Fish'n'Dive.
