Have an old Dancer or Olympia fibreglass kayak? These are old whitewater kayaks that are no longer used for white water, but are commonly found on gentle waters as recreational kayaks, often frustrating their owners by their habit of refusing to paddle in a straight line (they aren't supposed to - remember they are white water kayaks!).

However, you aren't alone, and there is an easy solution that will help greatly, and even make the kayak more stable: The Dancer Skeg.

This skeg is easily removable with a plastic clip during transport, and is held in place partly by its shape and partly by the riveted section of webbing with the other half of the plastic clip. Easily installed, and greatly improving the recreational paddling experience, these skegs can save a lot of time and energy and make paddling simply more enjoyable with these kayaks.
