Outfitting

Your kayak should fit you like a glove to assure the most control while paddling and the best comfort possible. We have a range of padding from hip pads for white water and sea kayaks, to "Bumfortables" for multisport kayaks, to cushioned fishing seats for sit on tops. For self-created custom fittings, we have a foam exchange box for customer use - bring in your unused pieces of foam and take what others have left for your own kayak padding needs.

Floatation for kayaks that don't have bulkheads are an important safety item in the event of a capsize. We offer a range of air bags to suit everything from canadian canoes to tiny playboats. Small repairs and fitting of parts on all types of kayaks and canoes are completed in our shop's workshop. If you require a specialized part, please let us know the brand, model and year of your kayak so we may source the part for you. Repairs to plastic or composite (Glass, Kevlar and or Carbon) boats are repaired through our partner repair / manufacturing company, Plastec, where Craig Harrington - a fellow paddler - will give you a fair price and an incredible repair job. He fixes all our demo kayaks as required, so many examples of his work are readily available in the shop. Together we are also able to do alterations to your kayak as requested - drink systems, bilge pumps, etc.
