The Sawyer's Sidewinder is one of the toughest paddles on the market. It has large blades and a shaft that bends inward to allow for maximum power in your stroke. Powering through large holes and waves is what it is made for, it lives to creek.

The Sawyer's Sidewinder was made with the creek boater in mind.

  • Plenty of power, for quick acceleration and digging through holes; and a quick response to aid in that crucial boof stroke.
  • Unique wood core, carbon braid reinforced Bow Curve™ bent shaft offers the warmth and feel of wood, ergonomic comfort, and the added responsiveness of carbon reinforcement.
  • The blades are angled slightly forward to enhance the boof stroke and aid in a quick roll.
  • The dihedral blades are built with a blend of laminated woods, with a carbon and fiberglass reinforced power face, fiberglass reinforced non-power face and a Dynel Extra-ToughEdge™ for added abrasion and impact resistance.
  • The Sidewinder is made to take all the beat-downs that steep creeks can dish out.

"Very light, tough blades and the flex and feel of wood... they are solid wood cores and the carbon braid re-enforcement run at a 45 degree angle to the length of the shaft. The carbon doesn't really stiffen the shaft until the deflection gets to about 10+ degrees. This retains the natural shock absorption of a solid wood shaft, plus it gives you a progressive flex and warmth that wood is renowned for."

Sawyer's Sidewinder details:

  • Blade length: 46cm
  • Blade width: 21.5cm
  • 30 degree crank
