Complete Canoe Sports Arctic PaddleGeneral: An extremely light, strong and durable carbon composite touring paddle. This is the definitive paddle for the intermediate to experienced sea kayaker. Weights range from 980gm up to 1100gm on 1-piece shafts. Blade edge thin for cutting into the water smoothly.

Material: Carbon fibre reinforced, injection moulded Nylon 66.

Size: This blade is available in 4 sizes (130mm, 160mm, 175mm and 185mm) with the width being the stated size. We stock the 160s, as this one suits the largest number of customers being thin enough for long distance paddling, but wide enough to have some bite into the water when required, but if you want one of the others we are happy to order it for you - please expect about a month or two delay however for special orders of these paddles...

Shape: Asymmetric cut, medium dihedral shape for easy touring.

All paddles in this series include drip-rings, grip indicator, sealed blades, sealed shafts in lengths from 200cm to 240cm.

Usage: Designed for long distance sea-kayak touring. Strong and lightweight to minimise paddler fatique.

Angle: These paddles are made at a standard 60 degrees for touring. If you want another angle, or want a left-handed paddle with the key on the opposite side and the angle adjusted accordingly, this can be done, but again please expect a 1-2 month wait for this particular type of special order paddle.

Note: In 2007 these paddles were rebranded from 'Canoe sports' to 'Carlisle', the name they have always used internationally
