Favoured for tandem touring and designed to carry lots of gear, the ruddered Cabo sit on top can travel long distances easily, with the comfort and stability desired to open up coastlines and camping opportunities. The Cabo handles crosswinds and currents with ease, allowing piece of mind both on longer trips and when offshore. The centre seat allows for both added gear storage when loaded and going somewhere with two people, and is designed as a balanced centre seat for use by one person to paddle on their own and explore the area's coves. This seat also doubles as a kiddie seat for smaller children, making it a triple of sorts.

There is ample storage, making this kayak the sit on top tandem of choice for those wanting to go a bit of distance and/or carry camping gear for overnighters. Headed to the Abel Tasman or similar camping coastline? This is your kayak. With large below-deck storage and a large hatch in front to access this internal storage, there is plenty of room to pack away the camping gear. This hatch leads to the entire inside of the kayak. The storage well in back is a great place for a large drybag full of gear, and the centre "single" seat is a great place to store another bag of storage gear - and it becomes a sort of seat back for the front person when secured to the accessory loops.

The Cabo offers comfort and stability, with long leg wells to suit a wide range of paddlers, and enough width to provide more than enough stability for beginners while still having the length to provide a bit of protection from on coming seas for the front paddler, as well as length for speed and ease of gliding over the water. Strategically placed with safety in mind, the grab-lines make reentry easy in deep water after snorkelling, swimming or diving. The rudder on this high performance kayak increases maneuverability while also reducing the affects of wind and waves, making rugged coastlines, long rivers and inland waterways a breeze!
