The Fluid Synergy Tandem features a soft tri-hull that is super stable and yet so fast it will surf every swell when paddling down wave - making for easy and fun paddling. The mellow keel helps tracking in a straight line, while the hull has ample rocker to make it manoeuvrable when needed. The boat is just as at home on the ocean and rivers as on flat water. The lifted bow punches through waves with ease, while the unique stern design creates stability when surfing.
A great design feature is the third seat - you can either paddle it as a tandem or as a single. This is the most versatile tandem kayak on the market, the third seat is fully moulded that allows you to go paddling, fishing and exploring on your own. A smaller child will fit into the central seat, allowing you to take three of you out on the water at once.
Four drain holes get rid of water that splashes in the boat, preventing the boat from turning into a bathtub, and has four bungs so you can plug the holes on calm water to prevent any water splashing up, keeping you dry. The drain holes are positioned in the higher portion of the trihull so when the kayak is traveling at speed with the bungs out any water in the seating area is sucked quickly through the holes by the venturi the hull creates.
The Synergy features four well positioned handles which, combined with the length of the kayak, make it easy to handle. A single person can get it on and off the car, and to and from the water on their own even if they don't own a trolley.
A sealed hatch in the middle of the boat keeps smaller items safe and dry. The compartment on the stern is designed to hold most regularly used cool boxes as well as a wide range of dry bags. Bungee cords are a standard feature on the Synergy that can be used to stash extra items, maps etc.
The outfitting is finished off with a drain plug so that it is easy to clean the inside of the kayak, and then get the cleaning water out, and a range of webbing loops where optional thigh straps, seats and decklines can be attached.
