Mission Kayaks Eco Niizh XLT view from the topMassive weight reductions give you the volume of the commercial version but with innovative foam fittings. Lightweight moulded foam seats front and rear.

This is a good family tandem for strong parents with small children who are likely to not paddle much of the time they are on the water. The centre hatch provides a longer distance between the paddlers, thus removing the care required to not hit the front person's paddle when they are resting.  Children have also been known to sit in the centre hatch, making it a sort of three person sea kayak.

Loads of storage room: 45 litres in the front hatch, 96 litres in the centre hatch, and 60 litres in the rear hatch.

Sturdy, light weight rudder pedals. Deck fittings include flare holder, camera box and paddle recesses.

All this adds up to a remarkably light weight expedition tandam kayak with proven performance in all weather conditions.

There is a commercial version that includes plastic molded seats, full bulkhead centre and extremely heavy-duty rudder system. It is $4399, weighs 45kg is also available in Yellow or Red and otherwise has the same characteristics as the XLT home version.  If you want to order this version instead, please state so in the comments section when placing your order and we'll sort you out.
