The Necky Amaruk is best suited to day paddling and overnight missions. It's stable, fast and the two cockpits are far enough apart to allow paddlers to get out of synch without causing problems.
Swift and efficient through the water, the Amaruk cuts through chop and takes swells in its stride.
The one drawback of the Amaruk is it's small hatches - the front hatch is very difficult to use with moderately sized objects - that's why we only recommend it for day trips and overnighters, if you travel light you may disagree with us.
We have a demo unit of the Necky Amaruk. Rent it out - along with any others you wish to try - and whichever kayak you decide to buy we will take your rentals off the purchase price ( some conditions apply, cleaning fees and long term hires not included in this offer ).
