The Barracuda Saracen-X is manufactured from a high quality composite matrix consisting of Carbon, Kevlar and Fibreglass, it has reinforced bands laid over the full length of the hull for rigidity and is produced with the correct resin to fibre ratio for strong, light weight performance. The longitudinal fibre strands along the keel and up into the bow and stern of the Barracuda Saracen-X create a strong impact zone giving your kayak a long life on the river. The cockpit area is built with a carbon laminate bridge helping to create an area of high stiffness and shock absorption.

The Barracuda Saracen-X's exterior is finished with just the right amount of gel coat to help protect it from the harmful UV light that destroys composite materials and to look great without adding excessive weight.
