Tandem kayaks are great for couples, or parents and kids, that want to go out on the water together. The Contour 490 tandem offers high stability with enough storage for full length day trips and weekend trips away. It is wider than a single sea kayak, but with two people paddling you can easily cover greater distances with the same effort than a similar single kayak.
This package contains:
- Mission Kayaks Contour 490 Tandem - Stable sea kayak with good storage options for overnight and weekend trips. Good size hatches for ease of loading and unloading gear. Very well designed handles make it exceptionaly easy for two people to carry - we'll show you how.
- RFD Exodus Buoyancy Aid x 2- very well specified entry level buoyancy aid, with a front pocket to keep the essentials in.
- Carlisle Simply Magic Paddle x 2 - aluminium shaft with plastic blades. The blade is a good shape for sea kayaking.
- Day Two Nyloprene Deck x 2 - a half neoprene half nylon deck to keep off the splashes and keep you cooler in summer.
- Sea Kayak Bilge Pump with Float x 1- just in case you ever need to empty your kayak at sea. Also really handy if you leave the kayak on top of your car in a rainstorm.
- 6 Litre vinyl dry bag x 2 - make sure your sandwiches, camera and car keys stay nice and dry for the trip.
All parts of the Double Dolphins Package can be up and downgraded to different items as required.
