Angled, flush mounted rod holder. Any kayak with a flat area approx 10cm by 7cm can take an inset rod holder. Cobra kayaks can have these installed by the factory prior to delivery - just tell us where you want them (there are generally flat surfaces designed into the Cobra kayaks for this purpose), and what angle you want them installed at (generally rod holders in the back are angled outwards and back by 45 degrees).

If you want to install these holders yourself, drill a hole in your kayak that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the rod holder; spread silicone glue around the outside surface of the kayak around the hole. Put the rod holder through the hole and decide what angle you want it at. Then use either stainless steel screws or pop rivets to secure the hold the rod holder in place.

Cobra kayaks that can have one of these rodholders installed are: Cobra Play, Cobra Explorer, Cobra Fish'n'Dive, and the Cobra Pro Fisherman. Others, such as the Cobra Tourer, require a Scotty Rod Master Rod Holder, as these can be installed on the outside and don't require a particular depth inside the kayak for installation.
