The NRS Bill's Bag is a classic dry bag / backpack that has been keeping rafters' gear dry since the seventies. The body of the bag is made of super strong 21oz PVC/polyester and the bottom is 34oz PVC/polyester. On the Heavy Duty Bill's Bag the thick bottom material is extended up the side of the bag, forming a strip almost 8 cms wide protecting the base of your bag.
A double StormStrip enclosure system near the top of the bag make the first fold extremely secure. The next three assure your gear is bone dry at the end of your trip.
Carrying the bag is easy with the ergonomic design of a backpack harness system attached to the bag with NRS's heavy-duty double-patch system. This same system also assures a long life for the compression straps and the bag handle.
These bags are also good for those looking for a way to transport all their wet gear home after a paddling trip without getting the car wet.
There are three versions of the Bill's Bag:
- 62 litres, 35.5cm diameter, 61cm tall when fully rolled. This smaller size will fit in the overhead compartment of most airlines.
- 107 litres, 40.5cm diameter, 84cm tall when fully rolled. This larger size is best for long excursions and rafting trips.
- Heavy Duty version: 107 litres, 40.5cm diameter, 84cm tall when fully rolled. This larger size is best for long excursions and rafting trips.
