This Kayak Fishing course will provide you with the correct stroke technique, self ( and buddy ) rescue skills, knowledge of the gear you need and the conditions you can face. After this course your fishing trips will be be longer, more frequent and more fun.
We recommend that this course be followed up with a surf session or two as many of Canterbury's ocean fishing locations can require surf launches and landings at times.
The focus of this course is on core kayaking skills relevant to kayaking fishing, it doesn't cover fishing techniques, baits, fish finders etc.

All of our moving water kayak instructors are qualified to a minimum NZOIA Kayak 1. All of our Sea Kayak instructors hold SKOANZ certification.
