Favourite gear:: NRS Kayak Sherpa: How good does it look carrying your boat around on your back!? Great icebreaker! No, seriously, hiking up your favourite runs just got a whole lot easier!; Immersion Research Special K: Yes, I did land upside down off that drop! And no, the skirt didn't come off. Impressive!

Qualifications:: ORCKA/ Paddle Canada Whitewater Kayak Instructor, NZRA Grade III Raftguide, IRA Grade III Raftguide, Swiftwater Rescue Technician

I've been kayaking since I turned thirteen. From splashing around to touring to sea kayaking to canoe polo to whitewater to freestyle...

For the past seven years my life has been centered around boating in some form and has brought me to amazing places all over Europe, Canada, Costa Rica and now New Zealand... list to be continued!

Christchurch now gives me the opportunity to live on the beach where I kayak surf, and make my way to the westcoast for some creeking on my days off!

I was a member of the German Freestyle Team 2006 and 2007.

These days I am lucky to be sponsored by artistic-sportswear, Kober paddles and Fluid Kayaks, which makes my restless lifestyle so much easier!
