Favourite boats:

Barracuda Beachcomber Ultralight - Plenty of stability in a fast kayak. Andy won the 'C' grade of the Brass Monkey in the Beachcomber in 2007.

Cobra Strike - You can catch any wave on the Strike, it's fast and carves fantasticaly. More stable than most wave skis but just as much fun.

Fenn Mako6 - it makes me smile.

Countries paddled:

New Zealand, France, England, Laos, Thailand

Andy hadn't kayaked much until he met Dana and they paddled down the Mekong together in Laos. Despite all of the near death experiences with rocks, river boats and water buffalo he hasn't stopped kayaking since and enjoys paddling just about anything from race boats to super stable sit on tops. He's happiest in something with more speed than stability and will happily take a few swims to avoid seeing a bow wave.
