I started kayaking seriously in 2004 because the Coast to Coast sounded like a bit of fun. This led to trying out some whitewater paddling which is a bunch more fun. So now I have a kayak problem to match my bike problem.

For the last two years I have been coaching at the Arawa Canoe Club in Christchurch.

I'm a firm believer that multisporters should spend more time in both K1's and whitewater kayaks - cross pollination is a great thing.

Andrew was the 2008 Brass Monkey Champion... ( D class ) and runner up in 2009 Brass Monkey ( also D class )
